Here is a genuine Victorian child's school desk in oak. The desk is at least 100 years old. It features a built in seat, a lift up lid and two ceramic inkwells, each with sliding brass covers. It is in superb condition and could be used as a display item as I have done or as a practical desk for a child at home. Also included with the desk is a period 'Empire' wooden pencil case with slide off top. This contains several wooden pen shafts along with several metal nibs suitable for using with the inkwells if required. Please note that the other additional items in the pictures (teddies, school bell, Phonograph cylinders and books) are NOT included in the sale! Collection from close to Sunderland city centre due to its size and weight. This will go into a reasonably sized hatchback or I could assist with delivery within a 10 mile radius of Sunderland once payment has been made or could meet you at Scotch Corner if living further south.
