ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ORNATE CAST IRON INSERT - ELMBANK FOUNDRY - HOB GRATE - FINE DETAIL

This is a very ornate antique cast iron insert, probably early Victorian and made by the Elmbank Foundry [which I think was Scottish]. It has its original Victorian kitemarks in the cast iron on rear. It measures 38.5 inches across and 38 inches tall. As you can see from the photos it will need a new back which can be bolted on the rear or a clayback which it can be pushed up to. I have a couple of other parts - a grate and piece that sits under the bars at the front but I couldn't load the photos for some reason. This is a very ornate piece of cast ironwork and the pattern really has to be seen for real to understand the quality. Ad ID: Delivery Service Consumer Credit
