Vintage French "style" painted shabby chic double wardrobe with internal chest of drawers

This wardrobe has been hand painted with a white base coat and then hand painted with Autentico Vintage chalk paint in Soft Grey before being lightly distressed. I have hand finished the wardrobe with a white chalk wax to add durability which has a lovely matt finish. This effect gives an authentic rustic french shabby chic look. This is a very pretty Vintage double wardrobe. The wardrobe is made from mahogany. This wardrobe has two solid doors both with shield shaped mouldings, both doors open to reveal a interior consisting of a side to side hanging rail with six brass sliding hooks on the rail which providing full height hanging and half height hanging. Inside the wardrobe is its originally inset chest of drawers with three graduating full depth drawers all with matching flip handles. On the side of the left hand door is a bevelled edged mirror which is shaped the same as the exterior mouldings. The wardrobe sits on lovely shaped cabriole legs. Overall a sweet wardrobe offering loads of storage and hanging. This would make a super centre piece to any bedroom be it traditional or contemporary. This wardrobe is in one piece. Dimensions are: max. width mm. max. height mm. overall depth 515mm. internal depth 440mm. drawer heights 200mm, 170mm, 140mm. As with all antiques and vintage items please remember they are not brand new and will always show signs of age and use, this is generally accepted with antique and vintage furniture. Vintage shabby chic duck egg blue green chest of drawers

This lovely vintage chest of drawers is good quality and made of solid pine throughout which has been freshly upcycled/hand painted in a delicious shade of duck egg blue and then distressed to reveal some of the underlying colour and finish and highlight the pretty detail on the brass handles(which are original to the piece) the photos doesn't really give a true representation of the beauty of this colour which has richness and depth and is a little deeper in shade too(the flash has washed it out a tad) The drawers are all framed around their sides and are in a unusual configuration of four smaller ones over two bigger ones. They all run smoothly in and out. This is a charming piece of furniture and could be used in many different situations other than just in the bedroom, in a dining room or living room for display and storage,childs room or even a hallway.
