Large antique Mantle Clock French Clock

A beautiful and large antique mantle or sideboard clock. Measures approximately 19 inches tall. In Belgian Slate with decorative brass appliques. The slate in excellent condition with just a few nibbles hardly noticeable. Nice verdigree patina on the brass. Has a good French movement with the very desirable visible escapement. Strikes the hour and the half hour on a coil and keeps good time. Would enhance any good room and be a nice heirloom. Antique mantle clock in Oak case not working

Antique clock in oak casing. Really beautiful clock but sadly not working properly. It has its original key and you can wind the clock up and the hands move and but when it chimes it continually chimes and doesn't stop until you move the hands manually. It always worked previously and I'm sure it's a simple fix but I know nothing about clocks. Body and face in excellent condition looks amazing, very ornate.
