It is what we believe is a Prayer board, with handwritten scripture in Arabic, most likely from an Islamic school (madrasi) There are also some charts, most likely for mathematics and arithmetic or astrology and physics Made all by hand of Native Hard Wood in a characteristic manner A top handle, lined with rawhide leather/skin The scripture is well retained All original EARLY Islamic script Board! Originated from the easternmost parts of Africa (Horn of Africa/Somali Peninsula - Djibouti, Somalia, Eritrea) or weternmost parts of the Arabian peninsula (Yemen, Oman) across the Gulf of Aden Measurements:  Approx. 25" x 11.3" overall dimensions, 21" x 11.3" the board Condition:  Good overall, Please see photos below!
