ANTIQUE PINE Glazed Dresser/Display Cabinet/Cupboard

Antique Pine Dresser with attractive glazed top doors, 86"H x 47"W x 20"D. The interior is backed with moire silk paper which can easily be removed as only tacked in place. It has four shelves in the top and three in the bottom giving a good amount of storage space. The top separates from the bottom for transporting. I'm unsure of its age but the glass is original with the odd flaw. I've had it for over 30 years but now need the space for a piano so sadly have to move it on. Antique washstand dated inside, freshly refurbished in Annie Sloan French Linen with Provence internally for a bright contrasting effect. With a delicate stencil motif of a bird in flight on the cupboard door. The washstand has been lightly distressed to give a slight worn aged look. Finished with two coats of clear wax to protect and shine. The base of the cupboard has been lined with heatproof mat & a pretty oilcloth, cut to fit which can be removed if preferred. The washstand has a grey marble worktop which has lovely characteristic marble rings & striking patination. The upstand has been fitted with regency style tiles, with a beautiful original copper towel rail on one side with a gorgeous dull patina. The legs sit on four ceramic castors & the marble top lifts off easily for transportation. I can deliver for fuel cost, if the washstand will not fit in your car. Really sad to let it go but I would like to replace it with a French dresser. This is an antique French display cabinet/armoire/dresser that could be used in any room e.g. kitchen, bathroom, study etc. I've painted it in Farrow and Ball 'Downpipe' on the outside and dark waxed it. Inside is painted in Annie Sloan 'Old White' and clear waxed. It has good deep shelves so great for storage, books or showing off your precious items. It has really nice column detailing which I hope you can see in the photos and it still has its original glass. Dimensions Height 179cm Width 104cm Depth 54cm (max due to cornice) or 44cm depth of cupboards. Please note this is a heavy item. As with all vintage furniture, some pieces show signs of wear and tear consistent with age, but these just add to their charm.
