Antique French Art Deco Muller Frères Table Lamp from s This rare and beautiful table lamp has a classic Art Deco style. It was designed and produced by Muller Freres in Lunéville, France. The Frosted Molded Glass Glob with Geometric motif is based on square gold pedestal with stylish Art Deco decor. The base has great original aged patina which gives it unique character. The Glass Glob is signed 'Muller fres Luneville'. Approximate Dimensions Overall height: 23 cm / 9 inches Base: 15 cm x 15 cm / 6 x 6 inches Base height to the glass: 8 cm / 3 inches Glob circumference: 49 cm / 19 inches Glob height:15 cm / 6 inches Total weight: 1.66 kg The lamp remaining in great vintage condition with normal signs of age and use. Wiring is old with inline switch and mains Europe plug - in working order but highly recommended to rewire. The lampholder has a B22 Bayonet Cap fitting. Purchased circa in England as a wedding present. There is a twin lamp currently in South Africa. Works fully with no parts missing. A minor dent to the shaft. (see pics) Distinctive pattern on the base. I've looked thoroughly and cannot find a hallmark. Originally an oil lamp. Refitted with an electric light bayonet socket and plug (tested & working). Has a patina (see pics) and some rust underneath the base. I believe the shaft is solid brass as it is non magnetic. The base seems to be magnetic and brass plated. Stands on 3 small removable feet (5cm diameter) Also has a beige removable lamp shade. (small wear to the inner lining) Cash on collection only any questions just ask.
