Antique Framed Lake/Loch Scenes by Philip Maradon

2 antique (possibly Victorian) framed prints by Philip Maradon. They are of lake scenes one is of which has a couple rowing (called The Retreat) and one has someone fishing (called Summer Pastimes). They are black and white. I am told the frames are also old and possibly originals.Size of both is 52 cms x 35 cms. They are in good condition but there are clearly some marks due to age, the worst being shown in the photo. The price is for both and is payable on collection. Framed Double-Cherub Scenes with Highly Decorative Frame

This is two cherub scenes - highly decorative frame, quite heavy but wired at the back and ready to hang. It was left in a house when the tenant left, certainly makes a talking-point in any room. Total frame size is about 26.5" x 18" and 4.5" Deep and is heavily decorated with sea-shell type decoartions and swirls. From the photos you can see the cherub scenes are oval and each measures 9" x 7" at their tallest/widest point. Not sure if it's soft stone or some other material the cherub scenes are made from, they feel slightly cooler than room temp to the touch. Pick up from Centre of Havant, Hampshire, near both train and bus stations - it is quite heavy but easy carryable for someone reasonably fit. Read More
