Vintage Antique Horse Drawn Cart

FOR SALE is a beautifully crafted, painted market cart in green and yellow. It has good artillery wheels in working order. I bought it recently to do it up, but with winter weather and no dry place to store it I am unable to work on it myself to give it some tlc. It will be a nice restoration project for someone. The main work that is needed is some varnish and wood preservation, and a new floor and front beam. Otherwise it is sound and the shafts are in good order and would suit any cob sized pony or horse. The wrought ironwork is nice on the cart and chassis, and the measurements are: Length - 5ft 6" long (cart not shafts) Width - 3ft 8" wide Shafts - 90" long Height - roughly 42" It has a seat which can go up or down the length of the cart to adjust to your leg length. Also, it has a bracket on the back which fits the yellow tail gate (detachable) in sculpted scalloped yellow wood to match the sides. This is a lovely little cart which I would want to go to a good home as it has been used and loved since the s. A quick sale is needed. Details about   Antique Horse Drawn Harness Carriage Lamps

A matching pair of antique, Carriage Lamps with pagoda style vents on top and white metal bands around the stem inscribed "Patent No ". There is a small brass collar just under the lower band. The word 'PATENT' also appears on a raised lug on the unglazed side of the lantern (photo 5). Dimensions: Overall length 48cm, Lantern box width 13cm x 13cm, Weight: 1.75 Kg each The bodies of the lamps are in sound condition, the paint job is not original and is chipped/scratched in places. The vent stack on the top has taken some wear in its time (see photos) and the top of one appears to have been replaced - see picture 4. The clear glass windows (front and side aspect) are bevelled and contained within bright metal frames. The small, circular, red glass window (rear aspect) has a copper/brass coloured surround. All the glass is in good condition apart from some superficial scratches on the clear windows which can be seen in the photo details (all windows are shown). The rear window hinges downwards to give access to the interior (see final pics) which is lined with copper reflectors all in good condition. The lamp has been converted for electric lighting, the cable exits via a hole in the bottom of the stem. The oil burner holder (seen in last picture) appears to have been a previous conversion.
