Beautiful Antique Samuel Hawkins Extending Mechanism Country Style Dining Table

We're reluctantly selling our very large, Beautiful Antique Samuel Hawkins Extending Mechanism Country Style Dining Table due to relocation abroad. Currently finished in a clear protective wax which brings out the natural beauty of the wood grain which I believe is pine.  Full dimensions=  Width=142cm  Height =75cm  Smallest length= 146cm  Plus single extender=46cm  Plus 2nd extender=48cm  So it offers plenty of adaptability for a huge range of guests from cosy to large family get togethers at it's largest size is a huge 146cm x 240cm.  It has beautifully carved legs with original brass casters. Extending sections are added as the patented and smooth Samuel Hawkins Extending Mechanism pulls the two sides apart. We never had the original winding mechanism but had no problems using socket attachment which I could probably let you have.  This really is a unique and very useable antique table for all occasions and would make a beautiful centrepiece in any traditional country kitchen. Everyone who sees it comments on how beautiful it is, it's very sad that we have to sell it but we're moving abroad and don't have the room to store it.  Just to add, these tables are pretty rare and I have seen them fetch multiple thousands of pounds when finished in a French Polish. We preferred it in the country style however.  Viewings most welcome and I'm happy to answer any questions.
