This is a lovely example of uranium glass in the form of a large spirit barrel. The barrel has its original tap (no stopper). No cracks, chips, scratches or other damage. It measures (approx.) 18.5cm long (excluding the tap) and cm wide (difficult to be precise with the round shape!). Sold as seen. On offer an antique glass oil lamp globe shade. I inherited this shade about 9yrs ago and have come to realise, I have to let it go. It has a pretty acid etched pattern, opaque (white) and clear. Dimensions: Height – 18cm Diameter of base – 8.5cm Diameter of top - 7.8cm Condition: It is free from any hairline cracks but has a few bubbles in the glass which corresponds with its age and manufacture. It has some tiny fleabites to the base, while the top has definitely one chip and feels rough to the touch when you run your finger over it. Ad ID:
