This pattern is commonly seen in Karabach carpets – a dark field with bright red continuous rhombuses in a zigzag line. This zigzag pattern is also represented in Mazleghan carpets from the northwest of Iran. It is a fire sign found in the Zoroastrianism. Zoroastrianism or Zurvanism is a religion which is thousands of years older than Christianity, and which has stood as an example for the most essential characteristics of Christianity. Christianity is composed of Judaism and Zoroastrianism. Also with this edge and the special light blue-green colour. A so-called crab motif on this colour, characteristic for the Caucasus. Usually they are relatively large carpets of between 220 and 360 cm. This smaller size is rare. Figurative figures with men and dromedaries. Natural dyes were used to paint the wool with. The carmine red is cochineal, made of aphid. This was costly. The black dye contains a natural iron chloride, which makes the wool crispy so that itdegrades slowly up to the knot. Two Duvalay 5 cm thick Portable Topper 66 cm wide x 190 cm long

The 2 toppers can be used side by side as a double, or separately as 2 singles. Each has a luxurious zipped washable protector which helps with temperature control as it has breathable properties. They come with buckled straps ensuring easy as possible rolling and storage. The toppers have been used only once on a double caravan bed and were very comfortable.
