Ampeg B2-RE 450 watt bass head + SVT410 classic 500 watt cab

For sale here we have; 1 x Ampeg B2-RE 450 watt amp head And 1 × Ampeg Classic SVT watt cab £300 ONO for the cab £200 ONO for the head Or £450 the pair All fully working. There are signs of wear to the back vertical edges and bottom of the cab from lifting in and out of the car (as pictures show). Other than that there are one or two minor dinks here and there (see photos). The head has been in a protective Warwick carry case so is in excellent condition. The zips have broken on the carry case (not pictured) but I'll throw that in anyway. All jack and power leads are included. I used to gig with this about 7 years ago. I have toured with this rig for a few years and never encountered any problems. It's solid, reliable and sounds great. Our band stopped playing live over a year ago so I have no use for this currently. I will be sad to sell this but can't justify keeping it due to other commitments. Please note that one of the butterfly clips on the flight case is broken, although it can still be fastened tight with a pair of large pliers (sounds odd, I know!). I have attached a photo. Ampeg bass rig

This has been my main bass rig for around 3 years, but following the use of a friend's Terror bass I have been drawn into the world of Orange bass amps and I think I'm there to stay now (for now!). The set up consists of a V4BH amp, a 2x10 Classic cab and a 1x15 Classic cab. All of which were made in the USA before Ampeg shipped production to the Far East. The amp head has a full flight case and the cabs have Roqsolid covers. The stitching on the 2x10 is coming undone but it still protects the cab. Both cabs have Ernie Ball removable castors on them. One of the castors on the 2x10 is slightly loose. The sound of this rig is typical Ampeg - big, loud and warm. For sale is my trusty Ampeg BA bass combo. I’ve had this amp since new and it’s never let me down. I play this with my Warwick Corvette and it sounds great. It’s been gigged but I look after my gear and it’s been kept in a Silverstone cover for its whole life. The only damage I can find is a little nick in the cover on the left hand side of the cabinet and I’ve shown this in the pictures. It’s in perfect technical order. The grab handles and casters make it easy to haul around. It’s hugely versatile with its sound shaping dial although I tend to leave it on No. 2. At 300 watts and with the tube preamp it’s proved more than capable of playing gigs to a room of 150. Use it with something like a SansAmp Bass Driver and it’s capable of heart surgery.
