He is a big dog and has stayed outside since he was a pup. It would be advised that he is the only pet, he gets on perfect with the female dogs but not the same with the males. He is a big dog and he will inform you if any suspicion activity occurs around the property. He will not stop informing you until the treat has gone. He loves to cuddle and be apart of the family. I am going to be leaving the country for several months and there will not be anyone to look after this big boy after i go abroad. I'm having to rehome my akita due to change in circumstances.he has been brought up with 5 children and is very laid back very quiet dog.he has been trained to sit etc.he has been neutered and microchipped.i want him to go to a family with older children or a couple due to his size.he is used to a busy household. 1 Year old American Akita for sale

This is Kano. He is just over a year old(born august). It is with a very heavy heart I'm having to rehome my gorgeous big boy. Unfortunately he has become too attached to myself and it is affecting my family life. I am a mother of three young children so unfortunately Kano cannot have all of my time. I am willing to discuss this and answer any questions anyone may have in regards to this. He is a lovely dog, very people friendly and just wants everyone to show him love. He does pull on the lead when he is first outdoors with excitement but generally calms down and walks fine. He is EXTREMELY strong so not just anyone could walk him. He currently lives with a female springer spaniel, and has always been fine in the presence of unknown female dogs. He can have issues with male dogs though, not all but sometimes he can get worked up around males. I fully believe this will be easy to overcome with the right training. He will be more suited to someone who has more time for him, with no young kids or other dogs. Please do not consider contacting me if you have no experience in larger breed dogs. This is my boy, my heart is breaking rehoming him and I will not hand him over to just anyone. He has so much potential, his character and intelligence are just remarkable. He is a full breed akita but no I do not have any papers for him. He is fully vaccinated and registered with vets, he is also already microchipped so details will need to be changed over.
