Welsh Section A 11.2hh grey gelding 15yrs, from the Sarum Stud. Same home 2yrs. Good traffic, shoe (front only at the moment) catch, box, tie up, hose down, was clipped in former home. Lives in or out. Can be handled safely by small children. Lovely nature, doesn't bite or kick or shove. Leads from another horse. Safe lead rein pony and first ridden on country lanes where my inexperienced 10yr old granddaughter rides him off lead rein. Carter is our much loved pony having been with us 3 years. So this is a sad sale. He is 6 yrs old and he has been showing in M&M cradle stakes, show hunter and show pony for 2 seasons just starting his 3rd winning and placed in many. He has been hunting for 2 seasons one on lead rein one off. Competed in Hunter trails, and pony racing just this weekend at our local point to point. He regularly attends pony club and just this week also been to his second pony club camp show jumping working hunter and Flat work lessons all week.. he has competed for his pony club at showjumping. He has been on badminton ride last Sep jumping round confidently. My 7 yr old son rides him at home on hacks and has had few lead rein lessons on him but is not that intrested for me to keep him for the odd ride. This is a versatile little pony and really easy to do good to shoe, clip, catch,load, travel. Would suit a confident little rider be they novice or more experienced. I exercise him when my daughter can't ride him off another horse and he's has hunted on lead rein from another horse and is excellent, he is quite forward off lead out hunting so would have to be confident little rider in company.

Stunning 14.2 welch sec d all rounder eventer in Northampton

Meg is a stunning pony full up 14.2 and a mothers dream. This has been such a tough decision for us but my daughter has taken a different direction and wants to learn to jump, she can do small jumps on Meg but needs a confident rider because she has such a big jump on her. Great to do in every way, hacks in company, front or back or alone, daughter now 11 and gallops her around the field. Beautiful schooling, dressage, showing in hand or ridden. Took her xc and loved it, friend jumped her 1m, loved the water etc Took her to Onley show and two beautiful clear rounds and came 1st and 2nd. Previous owners who had her for 7 years competed in working hunters and took her as far as they could but out grown and moved onto horses. Great with ferrier, clipping, will stand and be groomed all day, bathed etc. Never been lame or any illness. Teeth done may so ok for another 12 months. I cannot say enough about this gorgeous girl who has taught my daughter so much. Please no time wasters as this is so hard for us. 5 star home a must. Not spooky at all, not Marish and use to farm machinery, dogs, heavy traffic. In her own paddock, out now but in the winter she is stabled at night, has been in field with others at previous yard. He can turn his hand to anything! Has hunted with Cheshire Bloodhounds, competed at Endurance Rides Great Britain, and been on beach trips. He has attended weddings, ridden up to the top of Rivington tower also. He has recently started his jumping education and shows no hesitation cantering towards small jumps. I spent a lot of time over the past 18 months training him and he has literally been there, done it all. He bats no eyelid in heavy traffic, even motorway bridges and large tractors/lorries. Seriously heartbreaking sale of our beautiful pony Meg who only deserves a 5 star home. Unfortunately and ONLY reason for sale my daughter has taken a different direction and we feel that Meg will be wasted. She has taught my daughter so much and a mothers dream.
