Bellamour (Bella) is a 19YO TB/Lusitano cross light bay mare whos been in our family for 10 years. She has been the perfect transition from ponies to horses for our 3 daughters. In spite of her age she is very 'low mileage and is full of life and energy. She was very well schooled and brought up by a respected midlands-based eventer and this is reflected in her excellent manners both on the ground and in the saddle. Shes done just about everything the Pony Club can offer, including representing Wales and Borders at tetrathlon; she came third in the Championships. She went two years there wasnt without a single stop at cross country, and precious few show jumping faults either. Shes a super hunter, an effortless hack on her own or in company, happy to lead or be led, and was showered with rosettes when the girls were competing. Fast, forward-going, sure-footed and very responsive to both hand and leg. She likes a confident, positive rider to perform at her competitive best, but is perfectly willing and safe with less experienced riders too. Selling Bella is very hard but since our daughters are all either working or at university she really is wasted here. She is a perfect transition from ponies to horses and would still be very competitive at all eventing disciplines. The right home is essential. Bella has been carefully looked after throughout her life and we are determined for this to continue. She needs regular turnout to keep fit and well, and she must have equine company. Vaccinations and worming are all up to date. No health problems and shes in lovely condition. Tack and a selection of worn but serviceable rugs are included. Our one in a million 13.2hh bay New Forest mare is very reluctantly for sale. We have had her for 10 wonderful years and she is now outgrown. She has done all pc activities but excels in show jumping. She jumps from any angle and any stride. Not fazed by any fillers. Very fast against the clock and all my children have won countless rosettes and trophies with her. Jumps comfortably- just point and shoot at the fences! But also jumps 2'9-3' with a competent rider. Always comes home with a rosette, usually including at least one first. We are still competing her and she is still winning. Fantastic at XC as jumps everything. Not a natural at dressage, but obedient and always scores in the high 60's. Brilliant at gymkhana games and more often than not wins. Great at beach rides, fun rides etc. Been on all pc teams including area teams both junior and novice.Also been on NSEA teams. Usually placed and often wins. Been to junior or senior camp many times and done hundreds of rallies. She has hunted and is brilliant. Stands quietly at the meet. She is an absolute joy to handle from the ground and is brilliant to shoe (fronts only), clip, load and will hack happily alone or in company. She will tie up happily to the trailer when at shows. Happy to be turned out with both mares and geldings and is fine if left alone in the field when others are taken out to ride.We usually out winter her with rugs, but she is happy to be stabled too. Teeth, vaccinations up to date. She is a 'been there, done it and got the t shirt' sort of pony. A real mothers dream. If I had more children she would not be for sale! This is so hard for us, so please don't ask for loans and strictly no time wasters.

She is also a confident accomplished jumper, never strong and never stops, she really does just love to jump and knows her job. I have jumped up to 1m15 on her at home which she did with ease. She is snaffle mouthed at all times and is completely safe in open spaces. She is easy to do in all ways and has impeccable manners, never bolshy or rude. However Ella does need an experienced home as she can be a little grumpy like all girls and needs someone with the confidence and experience to just ignore her and carry on which in time leads to less and less grumpiness.
