It is with a heavy heart that we have made the decision to recommend our beloved dog Dexter. Since having our fourth child recently we are unable to give him the attention and exercise a dog like him needs. He has been with us since a puppy and brought up around, kids, cats, chickens, babies and other dogs. He is an energetic and lively dog who has never shown any aggression to anyone or anything. We would only consider reforming him to someone who doesn't work full time, ideally a family with children, has a garden and understands about the breed and their needs. He has not been spayed but we would not want him to be used for breeding purposes. BOSS IS A FRIENDLY, CHUNKY SOFT LAD, GOOD WITH CATS

BOSS IS A RESUCE DOG STILL CURRENTLY IN HIS HOME BUT HIS OWNERS CIRCUMSTANCES ARE SADLY CHANGING SO HE NEEDS TO FIND A NEW, LOVING HOME ASAP Boss is a male Staffy aged 4-5 years.  He’s a big chunky lad but a total softy.  He still acts like an excited pup and loves to play.  He’s lived with children, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs and loves them all.  However, he has a mouthing problem when he is excited, so when the lead comes out he gets all over excitable and mouths your hands, lots of bull breed types do this and he has been receiving training to get him out of this habit but because of this we would not home him with small children as it may scare them, even though he is not being aggressive and does not bite it is more like puppy mouthing. You would need to be prepared to carry on with his training to get him out of this habit but this is his only vice really, he is a lovely boy otherwise and just need to calm down a bit when the lead come out. Once he is out he is very good off lead, listens to commands and always wants to give a friendly greeting to passing dogs.  He is food oriented and eats everything he can get away with but has never shown any aggression.  Sadly, his owner is having to give him up due to a change in circumstances so he has had to come into kennels, which is not ideal for a dog that has been loved and used to being in a loving home.  If you can offer Boss a new forever home and you have no kids under the age of 12 then please contact us asap Read More

PIPPA - lovely little Crossbreed, great with kids/cats/dogs

Pippa is a very sweet small – medium sized Crossbreed who is around 4 years old. She is very loving and affectionate and will sit on your knee at any opportunity! She is good with other dogs, cats and could live with children aged 4+. She’d be best living with a similar sized friendly male dog. Pippa loves to be with you, and does cry if she’s shut downstairs at night etc, so wouldn’t suit a home where she’d be left for any longer than a couple of hours. She pulls a little on the lead, but walks very nicely on an extendable lead – she loves to sniff EVERY blade of grass along the way and always has her nose the the floor!
