This copy is complete, some panels are signed by the artist, some by the engraver, many are signed by both. The large-format panels are stamped on the back with library specification and below each is referred with a typewriter (see photos). The alphabetical list show the artist according to ancient and modern art, in alphabetical order, each with a number corresponding to the image. A very rare work, published in 12 books, completely available with this lot. Overall a clean copy, slightly browned, some panels are stronger on the outer edge, with only a few smaller tears. The cover in really poor condition, text and tables are all in good condition, the etchings are protectes with silk shirt. Read More
