It is with great sadness that I am looking for a new family for our beloved Brynebo Fred. Fred is our one in a million 14hh 7 year old welsh part bred who is registered with WPCS. Fred has been our much loved family member who has taken my husband from no driving experience to pulling our bow top wagon and driving through any town or environment. Fred is an extremely special horse who thrives off work and showing himself off driving through the busiest of towns. Fred will drive/hack out alone or in company through woods, open spaces and built up busy main roads. Fred has a heart and courage of a lion who will do anything to please his owner whether that be pulling the wagon up the steep Shropshire hills or taking a nervous driver out for a quiet drive around the country lanes. Fred lives in or out with mares or geldings however will subtly become the boss in the field. Fred is impeccable to do in all ways catch, groom, load, shoe and will be tied up for hours. Fred's previous owner has also driven him to Appleby in a wagon, Fred has also been used as a driving pair, a side horse and has comforted our nervous gelding out driving and given him the confidence to drive. Fred has been driven more than ridden however is lovely to ride and very sensitive to commands with a soft mouth. Fred has only been driven in he past month so due to this I feel he would only suit an experienced rider to introduce him back to ridden work. I can not express enough on how much Fred loves to work to the point he will wag his tail like a happy puppy. Due to this it would be selfish of us to keep him due to us both having a lot of commitments and relocating. It will be an extremely sad day as he is our perfect family member and has given us so much and in return we owe him a happy life doing what he loves. We are in no rush to sell as it's important Fred finds the most suitable home where he will be loved. I have a lot of videos and pictures of Fred going through roadworks, and busy towns. He hasn't done much over winter due to lack of time, however he has hacked out and behaved impeccably. *Polly* 11.2hh 12 year old ride and drive mare. Polly is the dream pony, with manners to die for. She is a great driving pony, however she is very forward going and loves to get on with her work. She hasn’t been ridden a lot with us due to lack of jockey, but has been out hunting with the Highmoor Bloodhounds. She really is a lover of work but is equally happy to be groomed and pampered all day long! She is fantastic to lunge and long rein, good to clip however can be fidgety when doing her legs, she is also currently hogged. Good for the farrier and no vices. She has also had foals in the past.
