Agenda versus Agenda Sozial: Von der Alternativlosigkeit der Agenda 'Es gibt gelegentlich Maßnahmen die ergriffen werden müssen und die keine Begeisterung auslösen', sagte Gerhard Schröder in seiner wohl populärsten Rede im Bundestag, bei der Premiere der Agenda . Es wird beharrt auf dem Weg, den man eingeschlagen hat - sei er auch ein Irrweg, Hauptsache die Richtung stimmt. Ist diese Rot-Grüne Politik wirklich die Innovativste und Ausschlaggebenste seit Jahrzehnten, wie es von den Verfechtern der Agenda immer beteuert wird Ist diese Agenda wirklich alternativlos Die Melodie dieser Alternativlosigkeit wird durch die Reform-Oper ins ganze Land getragen und alle - arm und reich - hören sie tagtäglich, tun sich das an, obwohl kaum einer von den Zuhörern zu einem wahren 'Opern'-Liebhaber gehört. Andere Melodien werden kaum gehört - sind nahezu unbekannt. Gerade eine innovative Politik sollte für Neues offen sein, andere Modelle zulassen, zumindest sich mit ihrer Werthaltigkeit beschäftigen. Sinnvoll wäre es auch, mal über den Tellerrand zu schauen, da wird schon einiges angeboten, z.B. das Schweizer Modell der Sozialversicherungen, der schwedische Wohlfahrtsstaat, die französische Familien- und Frauenpolitik, die dänischen Arbeitsgesetze usw. Kontrastprogramme im eigenen Lande sind nicht unbedingt bei der Opposition zu finden, die sich schon beim Sozialabbau auf der Überholspur befindet, aber es gibt Ecken und Winkel in den eigenen Reihen der SPD und außerhalb, in denen soziale Gerechtigkeit und Solidarität noch ihren Platz finden. Auf der Suche nach Alternativen stolpert man über die 'Wahlalternative Arbeit und Soziale Gerechtigkeit' (WASG) innerhalb der SPD, über prickelnde Ideen einer Gebührengesellschaft, über das 8-Punkt-Modell des DGB und zahlreiche andere Denkmodelle bis man auf das Gegenkonzept, die Agenda Sozial stößt.
