Welcome to our monthly afternoon tea in the Great Oak Hall situated inside the Historic 15 century Netherby Hall on the banks of the river Esk on the England/Scottish Border. You will be greeted on arrival and shown to your table where you will be waited on throughout your stay. A selection of homemade sandwiches, savouries, cakes and scones will be brought to your table along with tea or coffee. There will be soft drinks if you wish or fruit teas on offer too. You will be given a box to take any cakes home afterwards.

We specialise in afternoon tea delivery. We provide a classic afternoon tea including finger sandwiches, scones, delicious cakes and a selection of teas. For that extra special service we also supply all the crockery you will need, including home made vintage cake stands! We also hire our vintage crockery and cake stands for a very reasonable fee. Alternatively this can be purchased from us for you to enjoy forever! We are currently developing a unique selection of gourmet scones including pear & earl grey, chocolate orange and melon & parma ham!

This beautiful fine china, bering the fleur de ly symbol comprises of 6 cups 3 1/2" diameter about 2 1/2" tall and saucers 5 3/4" diameter, one of which must have been a replacement as it has no marking but the design is matching, 6 square with shaped corners side plates 6" x 6" again one must have been a replacement because the mark albeit the same is a different coloured stamp a sugar bowl 4 3/4 diameter and two serving plates 9.5" x 10" which takes into account the side extensions for carrying the plate they are all perfect no chips, cracks or damage. white background with blue brown green yellow and gold gilt. Absolutely fine and beautiful. I also have the same design but different maker an additional 4 cups these don't have the design inside the cup as do the set there 6 saucers and a slightly different design tea plate.
