I don't have any hoglets for sale at the moment. Hopefully I will have litters at the beginning of September. I welcome visits to meet the adult hedgehogs and see my set-up. African Pygmy Hedgehogs are exotic mammals. They require a heated house controlled by a thermostat. It takes time to tame them and keep tame. They need a special smooth wheel called a bucket wheel which they poo in when they run. They are lovely but do take some work to look after. She enjoys exploring and being offered a lot of space in a play pet with lots of enrichment/activity to do. She can huff and refuse to co-operate if she isn't in the mood too just like most hedgehogs. Mabel is an absolute joy and amazing little hog. I do require ONLY the best home for her and I will/have been picky about a home for her. You MUST be able to show me her enclosure before I allow her to leave. You're welcome to come and meet/greet Mabel before you decide if you want her. A deposit can be left if you're not ready for her yet but are more than certain about offering her a genuine home. Do not want her to be homed to a child as a "present" SORRY. She needs a lot of handling as she is very nervous and does enjoy wondering around the livingroom rather than having a hug.
