Adult Bosc Monitor
Adult Bosc Monitor looking for a new home that can provide her (not sure on gender) with enough space and time she needs. We rehomed her and have put some weight on her as was being neglected and underfed. As a result she is only 2 1/2 ft and is believed to be 3/4 year old although we do not know. Due to living in tiny (4*2ft) before we got her, her tail is abit bent but improving as is her skin from burns from her previous lighting. She's currently in a 6*2 but will need an 8*4 enclosure which you will need before she comes to you. I will ask for proof. Won't be provided with hers as isn't in amazing condition and too small- make sure it doesn't have sliding doors as she can open them! Not hugely tame and will hiss but is not aggressive (hasn't bitten or tail whipped although flinches as I do not believe she was treated nicely in previous home) but obviously exercise caution when feeding! Knowledgeable home only as these are large lizards. She enjoys fozenthawed mice, mealworms and morioworms, crickets and other insects (which she loved hunting for in her enclosure) aswell as an occasional egg. Doesn't come with enclosure but can provide the rest of any food I have left and calcium. Please make sure you do your research. Needs at least 1ft of sand/soil substrate, preferably more. Price is to try and recover some of the costs of getting her to where she is now as she's needed a lot of work due to the poor condition she was in-negotiable for right home. Read More
