Swiftwood Sanctuary is looking for an adoptive home for Phantom. He is approximately 16.3hh and around 20 years old. We took him in last year after his hunting days became too much for him. We have since had him diagnosed by the vet as having shivers. The vet has said there is no reason alone why he can't enjoy hacks and will in fact do him good. So we are tentatively putting this advert out to see if there is anyone around suitable. He can live out as long as he is rugged but I'm sure he wouldn't say no to a stable over night either. He has been a wonderful horse in his time by all accounts and has taken many novice riders to the next level. But due to his shivers he can only be walked out on hacks. But we feel here at the sanctuary he is quite bored and has some life left in him yet if there is anyone out there looking for a quiet hack and a lovely friend Phantom is your man.
