Ampeg V4BH bass amp, 2x10 bass cab, 1x15 bass cab

The set up consists of an Ampeg V4BH all valve bass amp head, an Ampeg 2x10 Classic cab and an Ampeg 1x15 Classic cab. All of which were made in the USA before Ampeg shipped production to the Far East. The amp head has a full flight case and the cabs have Roqsolid covers. The stitching on the 2x10 is coming undone but it still protects the cab. Both cabs have Ernie Ball removable castors on them. One of the castors on the 2x10 is slightly loose. The sound of this rig is typical Ampeg - big, loud and warm. This has been my main bass rig for around 3 years, but following the use of a friend's Terror bass I have been drawn into the world of Orange bass amps and I think I'm there to stay now (for now!). Mackie SWA Subwoofer Bass Bin Speaker Sub Active RCF For sale, a great sub, nice deep bass. Has signs of use, general scratches etc. Also has a a crack in one of fins. Is not very noticeable when using at a gig as it just blends in. Doesn't affect sound quality at all! This is a passive conversion, it was active until the amp stopped working. I still have the amplifier, it was taken to JPF amplification in london who repaired as much as he could, but still needs a new optocoupler. They are available online, but mainly from china. neither the shop or i am prepared to buy electronics from china nor have the effort to fix it. hence im selling it. i have still been using it for a few bigger gigs since it broke - It now just uses an external amplifier. A suitable amp would be an 8 ohm at 500w rms. But ive been using a 250w bass amp and was reaching super loud bass at around 3/10 to 4/10 on the amp. I can test on collection to show that the driver is still fully working. Have attached a few pictures of me using it. It looks great, it sounds great, it is great! Am happy to take offers. I have for sale a Fender Squier Deluxe Jazz Bass V Active bass guitar finished in gloss black with a black Ebanol fingerboard. There are some plectrum marks and light scratches on the front of the bass but overall it is in very good condition. Included in the sale is a very nice padded hard case (not shown in the photographs). These are around £340 new.
