Sprite Challenger 5 berth caravan 90's. Tows ok but only short distances recommended as the framework of one wall has lost integrity due to water damage - I've been told this would be dangerous to take on a motorway. Floor is ok, except by the door. In an attempt to repair the leaks, my husband removed the skylights which fell to pieces so there are three square shaped holes in the roof. Sitting area is good. Here is an Abbey GT 415 caravan, built around ish.. It is what it is, and is in need of some TLC and repair.... The soft furnishings are in relatively good order, just slightly sun faded. There is a heater fridge oven grill and hob 240V or 12V Full Isabella awning. Lots of cupboards and storage space. Has seats that convert to double bed, and 2 seats to convert to 2 single beds. Has a good working leisure battery. There is a slight leak somewhere on the roof (possibly the seam down the middle of the roof, or the newly fitted skylight. The ceiling panels have been removed from half of the caravan, and there are hardboard replacements, but these could be used as stencils for the proper job... Inside it is untidy and needs a good vacuum.. The toilet and cubicle has been removed, making the entrance larger... but the pipes are still there if you wish to re-build the toilet. There is a hot water tank. The handbrake doesn't ratchet. Somehow the jockey wheel came apart, and as this is not my caravan, I have no idea how to put it back together. So altogether not too much wrong with it, but my parents have not got the time or inclination to undertake the project.... Neither have I.... There is nothing else with this, ie no electric hook up, nor water roll etc. The caravan is near West Tytherley. Any questions please ask. FORD TRANSIT 2.4 RWD CAMPERVAN SPARES OR REPAIR Van been stood over winter, box wires get hotv Put battery back on other day, and van would not start,it had started up first time every time before I stored it for the winter, van would not start, checked connectors turned out it had a loose earth connection, and due to the bad earth a split/ burned cable (the small one that runs with the main electric supply to fuse box).. the glow plug supply had split so Reconnected it.. Van will start intermitantly, but fuse box wires get hot, so unsafe to drive. also no dashboard lights,indicator lights, horN, dash lights.
