VINTAGE ABBESS DESK FOR SALE Beautiful original Abbess desk for sale (circa 's). To the left (as you sit at the desk) are three drawers and a sliding wooden tray. In the middle of the desk is a drawer and to the right, two drawers (one large, one small) and pull-out desk tidy. The surface has some scratches and some minor damage (commensurate with age) and a small area where the varnish/polish has come away, but apart from that it's is very good condition for it's age and could easily be restored. Large Abbess vintage solicitor's desk

Large Abbess A205 solicitor’s desk. Approximate measurements 86” wide, 42” deep, 30” tall. This has an unusual locking mechanism and a slide out for the other side that we haven’t managed to put together correctly and requires either deactivating (easily done) or someone with more experience to get it right! This is a lovely large vintage mahogany desk by Abbess I made a donation to a church in Newcastle in return for the desk and am gutted to find it doesn't fit up our terrace house stairs! I paid a lot for the desk in July . I'd be happy to take less than what it is on offer for, if you want to collect it soon - it takes up a lot of space in our kitchen! Solid mahogany and quality veneer construction throughout Two dovetail jointed drawers to left hand side One on the right hand side being a double size file drawer Good quality construction with a beautiful grain Stands on thick solid mahogany legs In lovely original condition. Gorgeous 's large teachers desk. Refurbished with hair pin legs and can be separated into 2 pieces (top and draws) for easy transportation. Has one standard draw and one deep draw with movable dividers. The top needs some attention as there are various marks and ware (see picture) but worth the effort as it's a piece of solid wood furniture, and very resellable if your looking for a small project. Lovely vintage school teachers desk. I think it is oak or another mid coloured wood. It has been painted in black gloss and previously in other colours. Really sturdy desk. Measures 122cm wide x 60cm deep x 72cm high. No key for drawer but it isn't locked. The top is covered in a softer material, possibly leather. It is the original top and us quite marked.
