A very beautiful, rich mahogany George III bureau with fold-down top revealing drawers/compartments and several 'hidden' drawers/compartments. Two small, three large drawers to the front with original brass handles. Grab this bargain to make an easy start on your furniture restoration hobby! The main structure is sound, as are the drawers, however, a little TLC required: Pieces of 'edging' need to be reattached (saved pieces can be seen in photos), one foot detached, back board cracked leather insert needs renewing The left 'pull out column' (see photos) is temperamental! A George III mahogany tea caddy - England - circa

An 18th century mahogany wooden tea caddy manufactured during the English George III period about . The tea caddy is made from pine, oak and mahogany vineer and glued with very thick (hand-)sawed mahogany veneer. The tea caddy is decorated with sawed brass ornaments, key entrance and handle on the lid. In addition to all the original fittings, the hinges and lock are also original, unfortunately a working key is missing. The inside presumably once had partitions and/or compartments. The tea caddy rests on the four original cast brass claw feet. The entire tea caddy has a nice warm red-brown colour and patina and a nice satin shine due to the authentic wax layer! Fabulous Mahogany Dining table, seats 8 comfortably. It is an Original Extending Georgian pedestal dining table. See condition for details. central leaf which comes out has veneer damage. Perfectly restorable. It has a good original patina and colour and it is best to keep this. These tables are undervalued at the moment but a genuine piece of History. Hence it's price. Size with out central leaf (as a round table) Diameter is approx: cm Height of table (floor to top) 72 cm Width of central Panel: 62 cm Length of Panel: 121 cm Making the total size of table when extended with panel inserted: Length 184 cm Width 121 cm (approx) The diameter of the double pedestal bases where the legs touch the floor are each: 66cm Plus: Plus a set of six rare, Circa Solid Mahogany dining Chairs from the Chippendale period. The shaped top rails have slightly pointed ends, with open splat in an organic curvaceous decorative pattern. The seats are in good condition upholstered in individual stunning art deco period needlepoint designs hand made by my Aunt. Their colours are greys and yellows, very now. The legs at the back are slightly out swept with stretchers between them and the square, tapering front legs. Most of these chair will need some sort of restoration. Most of the pieces are present. The double (secretaire) desk drawer is executed with an integrated drawer for ink bottles on the right hand side. The mirrors are extendable; one of the mirror glasses has been replaced and one mirror is in original condition with the old glass. With an integrated perfume bottle and an extendable pin cushion. The chest has several secret drawers with original locks and keys. The back with a massive rear panel so that this chest can stand on its own.The brass hinges with traces of silver plating.
