Devonshire 300 was a one-off event that took place open-air at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire in . This date marked the 300th anniversary of the Dukedom of Devonshire. Devonshire 300 was a specially commissioned masque performance set on a huge stage across the River Derwent with Chatsworth House as the backdrop. Over 250 actors and musicians were in the cast, and the performance was given to an invited audience of guests. This is the limited edition VHS film of the event, unused. It is very unlikely that you will easily find one of these available for sale. The event has a magnificent musical firework display as a finale. A very collectable piece of history telling the story of the Cavendish family and Chatsworth from Bess of Hardwick to .
