A new home needed for a Kune Kune pig

Our Kune Kune is approximately five years old. He is a gelded male. Ginger in colour and in all honesty is probably a bit over weight - affectionately known as Donald (after the President). He is now alone and could really do with some company so we are looking to rehome him. Also, the paddock where he lives is on sloping ground with poor drainage, so a better place to live would benefit him. He has a very friendly nature and has been sharing a paddock with goats and chickens recently, so will make an ideal companion pet. The only stipulation we have is that he must go to a loving home where he will be properly cared for - ideally with other animals of some description. Unfortunately we do not have any means of transportation so you must be able to collect please from WR6 area. Collection can be made at any time that is convenient for you. Obviously anyone taking him on must have a CPC Holding number to enable the transfer of ownership. Read More

URGENT. HOME.NEEDED. kune kune pigs. sows& boars various age

urgent!!! hi, I have listed these on behalf of my mother in law. We have a selection of pet kune kune pigs and piglets available for sale to a good home. The youngest we have are around 4months, 1 girl and quite a few uncastrated boars. They make great pets, are inquisitive and character full and selling due to having far too many at present and they have to get rid of some. I have been given some time to find them a home before other options are considered and to be honest the adults are most at risk and I'm desperate to rehome them asap. im looking for a good home who wants to welcome and care for a family pet. they require minimal care but need a bit of space to roam and shelter. feel free to ask questions. none of the boars are castrated but all get along great and currently all reside together. vet can castrate for a small fee. welcome to come and meet them and form your own judgement. I just really want them to find a loving home and happily live out their days located WR6 Read More

Kune Kune Pig Free to Good Home

Our Kune Kune pig has just lost her companion due to old age and as we are downsizing from our small holding, we would prefer to rehome her so that she has some company. She is 6 years old, is sociable and used to co-existing with other animals. She is easy to keep and just needs access to food and water and somewhere warm to sleep. As a grazing pig she only needs food supplements in the autumn winter period although she will always welcome food scraps. During the colder period she feeds on sugar beet, potatoes, carrots and any tasty treats that are going free. Kune Kune's do not burrow so she won't be heavy on your land. If you have a home with some space for her to move around and some other animals for company then please get in touch. We could transport her to you if you don't have the means to transport her and if you are fairly local to us. Only genuine enquiries - she really is a lovely social pig and is free to a good home. I am in the process of moving house and the prospective new owners whilst initially saying that they would be happy to keep our pet pigs and sheep have now changed their mind. I am therefore looking to rehome the following: 2 x Kune Kune female pigs (sisters) age 5 - wormed in July x Suffolk cross sheep (ringed rams) age 8 - wormed, vaccinated and shorn July All have been with us since lambs/piglets so are used to human company and all have a good temperament.
