This is the rare brown version of an OVAL turkey platter Ideal for Christmas or Thanksgiving. Or any occasion where you require a very large serving platter. It shows a turkey in a field & the rim has a border of colourful flowers. It's made by Woods Burslem England & the back stamp shows Enoch Ralph This vintage antique item is in excellent condition & I believe it dates back to the 's. It has not been used as a platter but has been displayed as a decorative item. We are near Uckfield, East Sussex. It measures approx.21 inches across & 17 inches high. It's HUGE & HEAVY. Measuring ins or 39cms by 11.5ins or 29.5cm and is 1.75ins or 4.5cms deep so can be used not only for roasts but also for pastas and stews. Also great for holding bread, fruit or salad. It is marked on the back F (Ford) & Sons, Bute, Burslem and the pattern features nice floral designs with swags. Condition is very nice with typical fine crazing and no chips. Assortment of Woods Burslem "Forest Flowers" Teapot, jug and

An assortment of Woods Burslem England "Forest Flowers" collection, dated about 's. Please see below description of each item and their condition. 1. The jug is a good size. It's about 6" in height. Glazing seems to be in good condition except inside the spout there is a slight chip. 2. The teapot lid is missing. I can't feel or see any chip marks but there is a lot of crazing outside and inside the teapot. Height approx. 5". 3. 3 x side plates approx. 7". 1st plate some discolouration, scratches and a blemish mark. 2nd plate quite a bit of crazing, a small chip on the front and a couple on the back. The third has a chip on the back and a lot of crazing again. 4. 3 x plates approx. 9". 1st and 2nd plate seems to be in good condition with no chips just scratch marks on the plate. 3rd plate has a chip on the front. 5. 3 x Dinner plates approx. 10". 1st and 2nd plate seems to be in good condition with no chips but again some crazing and scratch marks. The 3rd plate unfortunately has a large chip on the front, again it has some crazing and scratch marks on.
