A folding dinghy, called a Puffin by Polycell Prout with Jack Holt sail. Glass fibre bottom section with waterproof fabric folding side extensions. Comes with oars, rowlocks, aluminium mast, wooden boom, rudder, dagger board and various ropes. Can be rowed or sailed. Car toppable can be used as a tender for larger boat or good fun for children. In very good condition, stored in a garage for years. Just seconds to assemble. There is no trolly or cover. Very nice Skipper 12 sailing dinghy bought for my grandson several years ago and lovingly restored by myself to be used once on Tatton Park two years ago!!! Has been "dry sailed" since then and now time for it to be put to better use. Difficult to find such a tidy example of this versatile dinghy. Can be rowed, sailed or even put an outboard motor on the back for even greater flexibility. Comes with all you need to sail away. Sails, mast, boom, gaff, rudder and centre board. Sits on a fully road legal road trailer (which unlike a lot of others I see for sale that don't have mudguards) which has fully greased and functioning wheel bearings and suspension. There is also a winch to make single handed launching and recovering a doddle. I also have a "Rapide" fully galvanised launching trolley for sale which I am selling separately (see other advert). It does not fit this trailer, but if wanted, it could be stowed on top of the boat. A launching trolley means you don't have to immerse the road trailer in the water and damage the bearings (especially in salt water). There is some surface rust on the trailer which I never got round to sorting out but with a bit of a scrape and some paint will make this a very handsome little set up. Read More

We have owned this boat for 5 years and had great fun in her but failing knees mean that we didn’t use her last year so, regrettably, she has to be sold. Shown in picture ghosting up to the Yacht Club slipway one evening after an enjoyable day. She has been used for family and solo sailing, not raced other than in the occasional fun regatta. She has a nice stable intermediate design: exiting but not too extreme. The PE3 hull construction is durable and needs zero maintenance other washing down after a sail. There are two useful screw-down dry hatches in which you can put your lunch, car keys etc ready for a break. She is in excellent condition with no significant dings or scratches on hull or topsides and comes complete with:- Galvanised road trailer + lighting board with easy piggyback launching trolley. Original RS cover which allows for the boat to be stored mast up or down. Mylar slab reefing, battened Main with roller furling Jib. Sail area 12.2m2 All blocks, sheaves, running and standing rigging in sound condition.
