9 y.o. 148cm JC BS Jumping Pony - TB/Welsh X

Zeb will be a fantastic addition to the right home. He has schooled over 1m courses with plenty of scope to go bigger. He has a fantastic jump, can turn tightly and is fast against the clock. He can get excited and become strong although rarely stops and is unfazed by fillers. He works consistently in an outline and finds lateral work easy. He does have dressage potential despite being a jumper. Brave XC although very strong and speedy. He loves hacking out and will happily go in company or alone. Although he is a 148cm jumping pony with previous B.S. points and a lifetime height certificate, he would be more suited to a confident, experienced adult or older teenager as he can be sharp when ridden, particularly out at competitions. He can be difficult on the ground but is fine with a confident handler. He absolutely needs a yard with a fixed routine. He happily travels in a lorry or trailer and is good to shoe (no idea about clipping as we haven't tried yet - fine with clippers turned on and placed against him). We have hunted, shown, show jumped, dressage, hacked and taken part in fun rides. This is a pony who has the world at his feet and with a competent child he will excel as a fantastic all rounder or make a top class jumping pony. **FOR SALE** - HONEST AD BARNEY • years old • Potential BS/PC pony Barney is a 13.2 tri coloured gelding. I bought Barney to produce and sell on to someone younger however due to his age he is still a bit green and needs a capable rider to continue to further his education. He is an absolute dream to ride (never bolted, reared or bucked), fab jumper and could definitely affiliate. Has established flying changes on both reins, leg yielding and transitions. He is very quick against the clock and came 5th out of 25 at his first show (with a time of 25 seconds in the jump off). Polite in the stable and is good to tack up. Can be turned out with mares or geldings but does prefer to live in. However… He does need some work on the ground. We believe he’s had some bad experience in the past which makes him a bit nervous on the ground. This just means that you can’t do any quick, sudden movements around him as he will startle however I have been working with him everyday for the past month and have already seen massive improvements. He does also need to be sedated to be shod (is currently barefoot) – again, due to bad experiences. Up to date with worming, vaccinations and shoeing.
