75Hp Mariner Outboard Engone Spares or Repair

This is a Mariner 75 Hp 2 stroke outboard with Power trim which unfortunately has problems it does run tried it recently but it has a knock coming from the bottom cylinder and the trim solenoid for the raise part is not working. This engine has been in  storage for a while and has got scuff  marks on the lid and top of the engine as can be seen in pictures.It could possibly be salvaged by someone in the know but that's not me unfortunately so grab a bargain its worth probably £ as parts Its got the remotes with it but they are in a poor state but still work, no control cables though. The engine is located in Aldershot Hants and is for collection only not possible to try to get it running on collection. Payment is cash on collection only with NO returns. Everything else is in perfect working oder and great condition for age, this includes:- The complete gearcase - although an annual service is recomended. The Flatacraft Force 5 is one of the strongest, best handling and properly made 6m Ribs on the market and this example is in good condition. With a simple layout comprising a two-man jockey steering console/seat (additional bench and jockey seats available at extra cost) a double stainless A frame with lights and a built in 70 litre stainless fuel tank, plus a galvanised trailer. The Mariner 75hp 4-stroke has power trim/tilt and pushes the craft comfortable at over 30 knots yet will cruise comfortably and economically at 25 knots. This is a tough great handling craft that is equally suitable as a family sports/ski/wake boarding boat as it is a serious long distance cruising craft which imparts a feeling of security when the going gets tough. This engine was being repaired for me when a friend offered me another I could not refuse, leaving this one in need of a new home. It requires a new ignition unit to complete the repair. Meanwhile, new parts already fitted include: - Plate - Seal Q02 - Impeller T5 - Water Pump Base Assy - Gasket/Dia Kit - Bracket These are the more expensive bits. Other associated washer, gaskets and springs have also been fitted. Please give me a ring and I'll put you on to my mechanic. He can explain about the ignition unit.
