7 month old puppy to a good home, she's very energetic, can be shy with new people and is very vocal. She loves the outdoors although letting her off the leash is a nightmare as she will run around so much you won't be able to catch her lol. Her name is Charlie and unfortunately due to us moving to a new flat therefore our hands are tied. We got her at the age of 6 weeks after the previous owners lied to us and had to help her massively yet she's still very nervous around new people although after she spends some time with you she won't ever leave you alone! She is deflead and dewormed and shouldn't need treatment until roughly 10th of May. She has had all her vaccinations and been microchipped and her boosters are not due until September. We are looking for a good home for her ASAP and someone who will carry on taking good care of her because she needs it desperately for her development. She can be bossy but she's growing out of it. We recently took into our care a female German Shepherd, when the previous owners could no longer take care of her (they were elderly). She's been a bit of a handful to say the least, she's very active, constantly on alert, always wants to be where you are! She IS reactive to other dogs and will bark and lunge, but it is out of anxiety, she's not a confident girl and needs someone to boost that confidence for her. Once she's gotten to know a dog or person, she's absolutely fine. She is not good on the lead, but DOES know the 'Heel' command, so just needs someone who can work with her plenty to progress this (hot dogs help...). Recall is hit and miss - always been good when I've tried it in enclosed areas, but realistically I've never properly let her off the lead when there could be distractions about, such as other dogs. I don't think she'd be inclined to run off but can't guarantee. The key thing about her is that she is anxious and needs a lot of love, training and discipline to help her realise she doesn't need to be 'in charge' or 'pack leader'. She is a high energy dog and needs plenty of physical and mental stimulation. Loves running around with other dogs (once been properly introduced). Not known how she is with children - probably best not to be homed with young children. She's now 11 months old, had all vaccs including kennel cough. Is great in the car. She is currently crate trained, she does whine when first left alone but quickly settles. She is house trained. Pure bred, have all paperwork for her. Microchipped/Kennel Club registered. She hasn't yet been spayed, but I have her booked into be in December, so if I still have her then, she will be spayed. She's had her first season (started the day after we collected her - nightmare!). Would love to keep her, but my partner has recently deployed and I do not have as much time as I'd like to dedicate to her, and I also do not have the knowledge (she is a big dog and if trained incorrectly could potentially be a danger - of course any dog could, but she's bigger than most!). Would be ideal if she could be homed with someone who has experience with big dogs. She is absolutely adorable (when she's tired and worn out!!).
