He has recently competed at the New Forest and Hampshire County show placing 4th in a large novice ridden New Forest class. Bought from horse sales in October, she was fresh from the mountain and not handled. Previously bred 2 gorgeous goals. Brought her in in March, with a view to handle and break to cart. She quickly went from climbing the walls to avoid human contact to being touched all over without panic. Friendly, fun pony. Has done PC activities (rallies, SJ, XC), including Intermediate () and Senior () camp with the Avon Vale Hunt PC, PC Show, Arena Eventing and NSEA SJ (cm). Also hunted ( Season) with AVH by adult and 12 year old girl. Good to do and easy to handle, he hacks out both alone and in company. Princess is a true all rounder that has brought a young girl up from her first pony to jumping courses and going out over cross country fences and competing in dressage. Registered Connemara 'Shas Prince' Gelding

Prince is a full up 14.2hh 8yr old Registered Connemara. Lovely proper stamp of the breed with strong shoulders and big chest! He is a darling to handle in the stable, can be walked around by kids with no problem. Will stand to washed down, groomed and messed with. Doesn't nip or spook. No vices and in great health. Flat work is good. When he came to us he was out of practice and rushed but we have ironed out all his quirks and he's going beautifully. Walk, Trot, canter and jump. Jumping is also good, he'll pop a small course of jumps safely and steadily. When he came to us he was a bit nippy running out but he seems eager and willing now. Hacking is wonderful and he will hack alone or in company. I will say what I have noticed is that he really doesn't like the rain and can get giddy when ridden in it. He is great to shoe, load and catch (with a bucket or carrot). He isn't keen on being clipped but I have clipped him so he just needs patience and doing it in small doses. He has been affiliated in the past and you google him you'd be able to see what he has done. Only bad point is when we clipped all his Woolley fur off his back we found to marks on either side of his saddle. I believe that he has had an accident in the past and the saddle made have dug in to him. His back has been checked and is fine. He doesn't have any sensitivity etc he just doesn't like you touching them. I would say Prince would be good for a mother/daughter share or a teenager who wants to maybe do some pony club etc. He'd still be good for a novice but would prefer experienced if possible. I've been as honest as I possibly can and he's definitely worth every penny. Home is more important than price at the moment in time as we need the stables due to a new business venture. LWVTB basis to ensure suitable pairing, this will need to be approx. 1hr radius of Leicestershire. Totally heart breaking decision due to being outgrown. He is good to shoe, box and trim. Never sick or sorry and no laminitis. Up to date with vet, injections, teeth and back. No lumps or bumps. Very handsome chap and is a proper showman. Truly happy little pony who really enjoys his work. He has done all PC activities with Atherstone (SJ, XC, Dressage, Musical Ride, Games – stirrup/vault, Camp, Showing) and has a very brave/bold jump (would easily affiliate). Quick to learn. He has been professionally produced over last summer and when ridden correctly will work in a lovely outline. Unfortunately my daughter did not ride him consistently. This resulted in Rocky taking charge or getting frustrated. He has never reared, bucked, refused or bolted with her, but he will go faster and faster around a course of jumps. This was totally due to my daughter inexperience and lack of commitment (phone and non-horsey peer group). With a more able and committed rider he will be a total superstar. Despite his sharpness, he is unflappable when out hacking both on roads and on tracks. He is happy to go first or last and has never hotted up. Due to my daughter still wanting to hack out I have held onto Rocky for longer. Over the years they have won a number of competitions, but as he advanced my daughter didn’t keep up. He is currently fat and unfit (for the first time in 4 years). If produced slowly and correctly he will make a cracking competition pony.
