Superb s Danish inspired teak desk (originally a dressing table) designed by Gunther Hoffstead for Uniflex of Great Britain as part of the 'Q' series. This desk features smart recessed handles and solid teak sleigh legs, definitely way ahead of its time! The desk is made from solid and veneered teak with a stylish minimalist design and exceptional quality. Lovely overall condition for its age, being recently revived, showing only minor marks of use, as per photos. Draws are clean and working nicely. This is a great stylish desk, ready to fill any office or lounge with lots of character. Chair not included. Mid-century vintage uniflex sideboard dressing table

This is a really beautiful piece of mid-century furniture made by Uniflex in walnut veneer. Stunning herringbone marketry on the top drawer and gorgeous dansette legs with brass tipped feet. Could be used as a sideboard or dressing table. The top, doors and legs have been painted with little Greene paint companies jack black. The drawers have a herringbone stenciled on them in gold and black. It has been finished in clear Matt varnish to protect against knocks and spills. The solid brass handles have been polished to bring them back to life. The top drawer has three compartments in and behind both doors are a shelf, offering great storage. Please note as this is a vintage item there are some small imperfections in the wood, but which in no way detract from the overall beauty of the piece.
