We have Copper Black maran hens at Point of lay availalbe the week after Easter, these are the Hybrids which lay dark brown eggs and plenty of them. Some hens lay a Jumbo size egg of over 78 gms on a regular basis. There is a very limited supply of these special birds which have been reared from chicks imported from a French hatchery.
