Hello all I'm trying to get rid of my family tent. It's taking up too much space in my Landlady's garage and I don't really need such a large tent. Its around 20 years old but is still pretty sturdy and holds its own against wet and windy weather. I last took it out for a weeklong camp in July so it's had regular use throughout the last few years. comfortably fits 6 adults... uncomfortably fits 8. in terms of its condition there are a couple of places where holes have been sealed (as can be seen on the photos and there is currently an unsealed hole in the back portion that will require a little bit of attention. It is missing a few clips for the inner sections but we've found that cable ties make a good substitute. Cabanon Trailer Tent This trailer tent has been loved and enjoyed and I am sad to see it go. Whilst its been in storage for 2 summers now it had a tiny 4 legged visitor, who unfortunately, caused a little damage by chewing 2 holes in the outer canvas, one on the top, one on the side, hence the price does reflect this damage, as any one is aware this can be easily fixed. Sadly it's time to sell our lovely Cabanon Espace frame tent Caught the camping bug late in life so this hasn't had lots of use but the children are grown and no longer want to come camping so we are downsizing. This is the perfect family tent and the pictures don't really do it justice - an ideal tent to cope with the variable British weather Rigid poles that fit together with springs and push fit pins - a couple of the springs have over stretched so we have used a bit of masking tape over the join with no problems - once the frame is put together and the canvas over the top this is a very sturdy tent Canvas sides and PVC roof so perfect for all types of weather conditions - was proofed when we first got the tent and is still waterproof Can be secured with guide ropes and elastics & tent pegs so very sturdy and withstands windy conditions - tent pegs included in the listing It has 3 self-contained sleeping compartments - all held in place with loops and elastics - some elastics have started to perish but replacements are easy to find in any camping shop and we have a few spares being sold with the tent. There are 2 double compartments and one that we used as our main bedroom but it can be split into another 2 doubles with the use of the integral divider giving 4 double bedroom compartments sleeping 8 people Each bedroom compartment has a PVC base so is waterproof and faces onto a short corridor which is curtained off from the rest of the tent so lots of privacy The main area has 2 front door sized openings and the front can be unzipped and rolled up completely to open the tent up fully - ideal when it is especially sunny and you want some shade The side also opens to give an alternative entrance - this side has a canopy for additional shade The other side is designed to be the "kitchen" area and this has a net "window" to allow for air-flow - this has a waterproof cover that rolls down when the "kitchen" is not in use The size of the tent is approx 5m x 6m according to the reviews - I have never measured it! Cabanon Montpelier tent. Canvas outer, Spring linked steel poles, sleeps 6. Dimensions are 425 cm wide by 520 cm long. Used only once, selling due to ill health. Immaculate condition. This is the Rolls Royce of tents and will give 20+ years of camping and stands up to any weather unlike nylon ones. Easy to erect in 30 mins. Blue and Grey. Nothing to go wrong unlike modern tents, no blow up frame to puncture, no fibre glass poles to snap. No rustling in windy conditions so you feel like you are inside a crisp packet. No condensation either as canvas is a natural, breathable fabric that is 100% waterproof. We have seen countless nylon tents really suffer in windy conditions during our many years of camping but this tent will remain as solid as a rock and will be a safe home for you and your family that will be admired by other campers everywhere you go. The windows have proper curtains and you can even roll one down for cross through breezes whilst still having a mosquito net in place. The front can be rolled up to make an awning and provide easy access to the inside of the tent. It has a side door too which can be rolled back out of the way on hot sunny days or unzipped halfway to keep little ones inside safety whilst still getting fresh air. The roof lining is lovely as it just clips onto the tent poles and all the roof poles are then hidden away making the tent look luxurious. The kitchen area has curtains so you can cook and then just shut the curtains and hide it away. This would be very handy for keeping children out of the way from cooking equipment. There are two separate bed tents, side by side. One is a four berth with a roll up wall in the middle so you can either sleep four in there or two sets of two. The other bed tent is completely separate and sleeps two people comfortably. In between the bed tents there is a special pole you can clip on that makes a handy wardrobe pole that is hidden from view. The floor carpet is a breathable soft mat which is never cold on your feet and spilt drinks just drain away through the holes. It is washable and the only kind of mat that campsite owners like because it is breathable and does not make the grass die underneath it. This will be included as a free extra. We also have all the necessary equipment to sell eg, larder, tables, cooker and cooker stand, electric hook up lead and power box, electric mini oven, camping toilet, and other bits and pieces if you are interested in them too. Thanks for looking, the tent is a genuine bargain and you will never regret buying it if you want many years of luxury camping. It cost over £ new and I realise I will never sell it for anywhere near the cost price but my husband is disabled and in all honesty we will never be able to cope camping any more.
