I have just shut down my tank due to my parents unable to help look after it as I have now moved out of home. There is nothing wrong with the tank it comes with a five foot sump tank underneath and a strong metal frame to support it all. This is extremely heavy and I would advise at least 5 men to move this item and a van for transport not your average tank by any means but stunning when all set up. This is a professionally built braceless show tank perfect for aquascaping or just keeping fish happy in a huge tank. Outside dims: 122cmL, 46cmW, 46cmH Glass thickness 10mm Volume: 258litres I bought it from Fish Fanatics about June , they had a 15week lead time so this is a rare opportunity to skip that massive que! The glass and construction are 100% undamaged, no cuts or scratches to the silicone - welcome to come and view it first to be sure. The glass is crystal clear and allows the features in the tank to be the sole focus - it's like there is no tank. The table is custom built from scaffold boards and Victorian floor joists for a real rustic look and to be strong enough to hold a full tank - you can jump on this thing! The surface has been sanded and waxed for water proofing. There are 2 holes drilled in the top so that I could feed the filter pipes through it neatly - I can add more or enlarge them if wanted. It can be flat packed if necessary with a screwdriver and mallet, the legs are carved and hammered into the top. I can take it apart prior to collection also. 150cm long, 66cm wide top, 81cm tall. The width at legs is 55.5cm. I kept turtles, shrimp, fish and snails in this along with many types of plant. No contaminating or invasive species of algae or plant have been experienced, I have also cleaned the glass but not scrubbed the silicon corners - these will come clean with some slow cleaning that I haven't time for. There is also free to take about kilos of substrate (a mix of Seachem Flourite Sand and Dark) from the set up that is great for growing in. I am selling due to moving country, I had planned to take it with me but no longer can:(I am building a shipping box for it with wood and polystyrene packing and can assist loading into a van or car - but it will need two strong people to lift it the other end, it is very very heavy due to the thick glass.
