For Sale: Electric Bike Conversion Kit. This was purchased late to aid knee rehabilitation and is no longer required. This is a rear wheel hub motor kit: 500W 36V Rear wheel hub motor 36V 13AH Downtube battery (lockable with two keys, mounts on water bottle mounting) LCD Display and 3 button controller 2 x Brake levers with electric cut-off Thumb throttle Electric controller with storage bag (fits in bike frame) Pedal assist sensor (not used or altered in any way) Also with a full spare rear wheel motor sent after a spoke repair and not required back by the seller. I have completed roughly 300 miles total on this kit, it is in perfect condition, and as stated above the kit will also come with a second unused rear hub motor. This was used for a commute of 18 miles and was possible on a full charge with very little pedaling and only using the throttle, estimated range is up to 40 miles when using pedal assistance (never fitted to my bike). The kit being a 500W kit is intended for off-road use, however, can be limited to the legal maximum speed of 15mph for road-legal use. The extra power does make a difference for hill climbing, and with 5 levels of pedal assistance will suit all levels of fitness. This was not abused in the time I used this, only used following a knee injury and now no longer required. Fitting is extremely straight forward, however, fitting manuals and videos can be found online, or I can email a PDF version, this is all I required for fitting. Can be put on with little mechanical experience in around an hour. In off-road use, with the limiter removed, the bike kit should be able to get the rider up to 32mph, though I only ever used this limited to 15mph.
