Very large White Enamel Industrial Light. Circa mid 20th century. Good condition, with some minor defects to the original shade. It has been rewired with new vintage style 3 core braided silver, individually twisted 0.75mm cable and has been earthed. The rose and top plate connection have a cast iron finish, with old English brass hooks and chain. The large BC 40W Opalisee bulb is included. This light is ready to be fitted. Beautiful, vintage, industrial light by the brand Benjamin, United States, circa . This lamp comes from an American dental practice in the state of Pennsylvania and is in very good condition. White enamelled on the inside and outside, with narrow, black, enamel edge. One spot where the enamel on the edge is chipped off. Fairly rare is the (completely undamaged) original, opaline glass sphere. This glass sphere provides a pleasant, diffuse light, ideal for over a dining table, for example. The lamp has openings at the top, so it also provides a soft light above. The lamp is fully renovated and equipped with a new porcelain lamp holder (E27), a new white cord (approx. 2 metres) and a new eyelet. Metal top part is engraved with the text 'Benjamin - made in U.S.A.' and has been slightly polished to a nice shine. The white glass sphere can easily mounted and dismounted with the clamping spring. Beautiful and very large industrial lamp by the Benjamin brand, England, . It's a 'Duoflux floodlight' (also known as a 'shovel light' because of its shape), which was used to illuminate large areas like factory halls and petrol stations (see photo). Exterior is grey enamel, interior white enamel, with a black enamel rim. The lamp is in very good condition. All metal parts have been lightly polished to a glossy finish. Includes a custom made mount to attach it to a wall. The angle of the lamp shade can be adjusted with a bolt.Fitted with a new porcelain lamp holder (E27) and a new cord (approx. 3 m).
