I am throwing this out there as I can offer a peaceful retirement home to a veteran large pony or small horse that might be up for a gentle plod round the adjacent woods once or twice a week.... i.e. The equine equivalent of me! I am not interested in competing or boxing up to go anywhere, I just have a paddock next door and a lifetime of owning and caring for horses behind me. Farmers wife will shortly be offering a permanent retirement home to nice ploddy safe cob 16 years + and 15.2hh + This will be an end of life home. She/he must be able to be ridden by 60's lady who suffers from chronic fatigue. I have trouble mounting and dismounting, so must be good at the mounting block. I have 2 x late twenties mares at the moment, which you can see if you wish to visit. The last mare came to me in awful condition, had been badly neglected, but she is happy now, gradually putting on weight, but sadly has very few teeth!
