18 Month Old Jack Russell/Yorkshire Terrier Cross in

We are unfortunately looking to rehome our 18 month old Jack Russell/Yorkshire Terrier cross, Smudge. Despite being affectionate and loving, she is a nervous dog and not suited to a noisy house with two small children. We strongly believe that in an adult home with people who would be able to patiently train and socialise her that she would make a wonderful companion. She needs to be the only pet and in a household with no children. Her new owners should be prepared to invest time and energy into training her to be around strangers and other animals. She has fought with other dogs in the past, attacks the post and can be quite territorial about her toys like a classic terrier but these behaviours can be trained out with time. Once you get past her defences you can expect a lovely little dog who want nothing more than sleeping on your lap all day when she's not watching the world go by your front window.
