JAX, Husky cross, 11 mths old in Nottingham
Jax, our 7 month old Husky x pup had never lived in a home before, coming straight from kennels so everything is new to to him, from wearing a collar and starting to walk on a lead to learning the basic commands. His expresion when the TV was turned on and he was trying to figure it out was adorably comical Jax is dog and cat friendly and has been around children in the home with no issues at all so could happily live with dog savvy children. He is a gentle boy who is just desperate to please, wants lots of fuss and love, he is really delicate when taking toys and treats too. We have recently discovered that before he came to us Jax was hit by a car which resulted in a broken hip and subsequent surgery, unfortunately the X-rays we have had done by our vet show that the surgery performed was not suited for a dog his size. If Jax is overly energetic he does have some discomfort so he occasionally needs pain medication to counteract that and we are currently awaiting a referral to a specialist to see if further surgery would be beneficial or not (any recommended surgery and recovery costs will be paid for by the rescue). With this in mind Jax would be better rehomed in the Notts/Derby area. Please message us for an application form if you want to adopt. Homechecks and adoption fees will apply
