The door way is completely dutch laced from top to bottom and the door way follows the profile of the tent giving a beautiful look. The tent its self does have some stains on the canvas from the products used to coat the ropes. These are not offensive markings as you can see from the pictures and they do not impact the performance of the tent in any way. the canvas was left up over night and it is weathered so it is good to go. the canvas its self is 450 gsm canvas which is (i believe) the thickest on the market. Beautiful 4 metre diameter bell tent, one of the best things I've ever bought. Great for camping, festivals, children's parties or just putting up in the garden! I now have a campervan and planning to do a trip around Europe so it's unfortunately time to sell it. The tent itself is in really good condition as is the separate ground sheet. If you were to use it a lot I'd probably recommend getting it re waterproofed but it's absolutely fine at the moment. Collection from Lymington or can deliver locally. Bell Tent 4m ‘half-moon’ coir mat from Paul's Matting, used for one two week holiday before ‘it’s too scratchy’ moaning designated it to the loft. I loved it as it meant you didn’t have to worry about walking dirt in – dust, sand and other bits just filter through the mat to sweep up when packing but a less practical but softer alternative has been procured in it's place. Used Karma canvas bell tent 4m for a quick sale, tent comes with a thick zipped in UPVC ground sheet, wooden pegs and mallet and carry bags. The tent is in good condition with no tears in the main fabric or ground sheet, slight pull on the fly sheet doors which is to be expected but does not affect the effectiveness of the fly sheet doors. Would need a clean outside next summer before use again. The tent is currently pitched for buyers to see and we will help collapse the tent for transportation. Ideally you will have a place to dry the canvass out before packing away for the winter and the ground sheet will need jet washing on the bottom, this just needs wiping dry before storing for the winter. This is a great tent and we have kept it pitched from spring to autumn and pretty much used it as an outside spare room and kids party/sleep over summer house. The fabric on the outside can start to show spot marks towards the end of the season and grass marks around the base fabric but we have successfully jet washed these off at the beginning of the season and let the sun bleach these out, if you want to avoid this then don't keep it pitched for as long.
