It is with a heavy heart that I have to face the fact that I have WAY TOO MANY clocks so some just HAVE to find new homes! THIS IS A LOVELY 400 DAY WIND UP ANNIVERSARY CLOCK FROM AROUND s. FULL WORKING ORDER BUT WITH NO KEY. (TAKES A NO.6) THERE IS A BIT OF TARNISHING TO THE TOP OF THE CASE, IN KEEPING WITH A CLOCK OF ITS AGE. IT HAS 4 FEET FOR LEVELLING AND HAS A PENDULUM LOCK FOR TRANSPORTATION. 7 1/2" High 5 1/2" wide 4 1/4" deep PLEASE NOTE: Although it is in working order, it MUST be levelled properly or it WILL NOT WORK. DUE TO THE FRAGILE NATURE OF THE CLOCK I AM ASKING FOR COLLECTION WITH PAYMENT BY CASH FROM FINCHINGFIELD, ESSEX, ONLY PLEASE. YOU CAN THEN SEE IT WORKING BEFORE YOU PAY AND TAKE IT. IT IS IN FULL WORKING ORDER WITH A RECENTLY REPLACED PENDULUM SPRING FITTED. NO KEY SUPPLIED BUT TAKES A SIZE 10 KEY AND IS PRACTICALLY FULLY WOUND. THERE ARE SOME NIBBLES IN THE RIM OF THE GLASS DOME BUT THESE ARE NOT NOTICEABLE ONE IT IS IN PLACE. THERE ARE SOME SORT OF ERODED SCRATCHES AROUND THE BASE OF THE CLOCK WHICH I HAVE TRIED TO SHOW IN PHOTOS 8" DIAMETER X 11" HIGH TO TOP OF DOME. IN SPITE OF THE SCRATCHED BASE IT IS A LOVELY LOOKING CLOCK. ALTHOUGH IT IS WORKING, AS WITH ALL ANNIVERSARY CLOCKS, IT IS VITAL THAT YOU LEVEL IT PROPERLY WHEN YOU GET IT IN SITU OR IT WILL NOT WORK. THIS IS AN EARLY CLOCK SO DOES NOT HAVE LEVELING FEET. THERE ARE 3 SCREW ADJUSTABLE FEET FOR LEVELLING THE CLOCK. THERE IS A LOCKING OFF SCREW UNDER THE BASE TO SECURE THE PENDULUM FOR TRANSPORTATION. APPROX 7" TALL X 4 1/2" DIAMETER. IT IS IN GOOD WORKING ORDER. THE GLASS DOME COVER IS ALSO IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH NO CRACKS OR NIBBLES OUT OF THE GLASS. THIS IS TRULY A LOVELY LITTLE CLOCK. I REALLY LOVE IT BUT I SEEM TO HAVE AMASSED A FEW TOO MANY AND SO SOME JUST HAVE TO GO. Handsome oak c. s wind-up mantel clock with key - working but needs some attention

Large very handsome s oak mantel clock which has its pendulum and key. This old clock works, after a fashion, or it did when we last tried it. It will need servicing or cleaning. The chime doesn't work. Bought for our daughter. My husband fancied himself as an amateur horologist then never got round to looking at it! The clock measures approx 16" wide x 8½" tall x 5" deep (41 x 21 x 13cm). It is a good looking clock that just needs a bit of TLC to restore to its original glory.
