Or just remove that if you are using for decorative or a planter. PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS BELOW. I bought this from Pots and Pithoi in West Sussex for about £650. Is was converted at the time to be a water feature, and still works as one, so it has the correct pipe inside and poking out the bottom to fit the pump. You can see this pot on the Pots and Pithoi website – it’s a ‘large Beehive decorative terracotta pot’, currently on sale for around £500. If you intend to use this pot as a decorative item then all you need to do is cut off the small bit of pipe poking out the bottom and it’s ready to place in your desired position. This pot is beautifully weathered now and it also has a hairline crack in the bottom third of the pot which will need sealing to make it watertight again (see close up pictures). There are various sealant materials you can use for this and if you google ‘how to repair a cracked terracotta water feature’ you will find plenty of youtube tutorials and products to use. This is an authentic, Cretan, terracotta pot, stunning quality, weathered item, already converted to a water feature if you wish to use it as one. I am selling the pump separately and also the water feature base and metal grid separately. The pot measures approx. 78cm high and 68cm width. The base is 27cm and the neck is 40cm.
