This is an old violin made by Murdock Murdock & Co, London E.C. called “The Maidstone” (as labelled). In very good condition for its age, has had a repair to the back seam as shown, and the expected wear and tear for an instrument of this age, but is sound. Set up and ready to play, comes with a brand new case, a brand new bow, a soft shoulder rest, plus rosin, pencil, sharpener, rubber, and duster - everything you could possibly need! Was all bought for a pupil to be set up with, but wasn’t wanted in the end, so a shame to have it sitting around. Stentor Student I Violin Outfit, 3/4, beginner/intermediate, with horsehair bow, lightweight case

A lovely violin, in excellent condition as hardly used, since my daughter only played it for 2 terms and then decided to learn flute. It is an ideal student violin suitable from beginner level through to intermediate Grades. It is made of solid, carved spruce/maple wood, with black rosewood fingerboard and pegs, and a wood chin rest. There are no scuffs or scratches. The bow is wood and natural horsehair with an ebony frog. The violin comes in its original blue fabric covered zipped hard case which is also in excellent condition inside and out. There is an outer accessory pocket, two carrying straps, and a zipped music pocket covering the whole lid.
