Dutch built steel cruiser project, twin engines, lots done but running gear and steering needs attention. Good quality aluminium extending ladders with ropes and pulleys to extend and retract them. Believe they were made by Clima but can't find any markings on them and are trade quality ladders. They have traditional rounded rungs with grooves to provide grip. Two lower ladders are each 3.8m long by 0.4m wide and top ladder is 3.5m long by 0.33m wide (slides inside middle ladder). Maximum vertical reach up a wall is approx 9.8m (32ft 3in). Top ladder has four holes which are plugged where a roof ridge hook was occasionally attached. These are great for using the full length to reach into the apex of a roof plus splitting them up into a two section ladder to reach gutter height and converting top section to a roof ladder to hook over roof ridge. Not needed now as live in a bungalow and inherited some smaller ladders. These are good quality strong ladders which hardly flex at their maximum extended length. The sails are drawn to the cockpit winch for simple handling, and for short crew operation. The wheel steering is abaft the cockpit table, with fold out leaves. Boat for sale Great project boat 33ft very wide A beautiful retro broads cruiser It is a bit of a project  However is a good solid boat! The pics are awful as you can see there is a crack in camera I will try to upload better pictures asap...... I brought this as a project about 6 months ago And I have started the majority of the work.... I have completed the main structural jobs.... Such as  Cut and remove 90% of the reinforcing timbers, which are fibreglassed into the bottom of the hull.  To give it more rigid strength. So I Grinded all the inside of the hull and fitted brand new timbers and cross beams  and fibreglassed them back into the hull.... Which was a filthy job and got through a lot of materials.... Over £350 on epoxy alone... The original timber floor in the wheelhouse had rotted and collapsed, and the timber floor in the aft cabin had also rotted... Front sections are in small panels and are in good condition. All rotten broken timbers and floor were replaced with good quality ply And fitted with all new timber bearers.... Front of the boat still has the large double bed at the bow. Which converts to two singles. Also has its original dining seats and table. Which convert to another double bed. Also has a toilet and stainless steel wash hand basin. Then you go up 2 steps  Into the wheelhouse.... Which is very spacious with a removable roof  Which would make a lovely dining room and plenty of space to seat 8 people spaciously ........................ All original dials and controls are all still fitted to the boat  Although I exspect the condition of it is very poor  Down another 2 steps  Into the aft cabin  Which is a lovely spacious double cabin  Which would give you plenty of seating space plus king size bed..... With also plenty of room for storage And bedside sink unit and wardrobe... Further back from this in a separate sealed compartment is the engine room Which originally held two Perkins Diesel engines  On outdrives  These had been removed along time ago..... Therefore I was going to convert the rear transom to a outboard mounting as you have a 4 knot speed limit up most rivers and inland water ways.... So running two inboard Diesel engines would be costly and pointless.... By fitting the outboard it would be much easier to maintain much easier to convert  This would also be completely silent inside the boat And you would gain 5ft long by full beam of the boat of very good usable storage space........ Therefore you would have more room for water tanks storage tanks  Boat washing machine freezer etc......... Access to engine room is via 2 massive hatches on the rear deck of the boat..... Which you then step down into the engine room  Hatches are not in photos but I do have them !!!!! I just took them home to do a small repair which has been done to them... The water in engine bay has been there a week  Due to tarp blowing off All together it is a great boat  Just needs finishing off  Needs bed in rear cabin finishing off  Seating area making in wheelhouse  New galley fitting Rest is just paining cleaning and millions of odd jobs  Just to summarise  Boat is 33ft  Wide beam Boat has a removalable wheel house roof which is ultra light weight designed for going under bridges Boat has aft cabin Boat is designed as a 6 berth Which you could make more if you design wheel house correctly  Boat has large separate engine room no noises or smells into rest of boat Bags of storage space Boat is made of thick fibreglass.... LUNA is a beautiful 42ft cruiser Stern narrowboat livaboard. She was built in by a company called Harbough Marine with steel hull. I have lived on LUNA for 3 years and had so many happy times. Aim4theBank is a 50ft semi-traditional narrowboat currently moored at Caen Hill Marina just outside Devizes. It was built in by Burton Narrowboats and has a Yanmar Shire Diesel Engine. It has 12v electrics with 240v electrics via an 800w inverter when cruising, a battery charger, galvanic isolator, one starter and three domestic batteries. The Eberspächer diesel fired water heater supplies three radiators and hot water by a calorifier heated by the engine, but the solid fuel stove is usually enough to keep it warm and cosy. It has a modern interior with a 19ft open plan living room and kitchen, containing a 240v fridge, gas oven and grill with two hobs, storage space and shelving. The bathroom has a mixer shower, washbasin, Thetford cassette toilet and storage, and the 10ft bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and double doors onto the front deck. The boat has been regularly blacked and maintained, with its last blacking in May , and has a Boat Safety certificate that is valid until . Yellow rose has been used as a live aboard for the last 8 years, it is a cosy boat and at 65ft it's a good liveable size.
